Many of you may already know about the UConn construction plans for this summer. Beginning immediately after commencement, the work will begin to replace utilities along North Eagleville. The most immediate impact will be that North Eagleville will become one way from Discovery Drive to 195. The front of St. Mark's plus St. Thomas and Hillel will be dug up for new steam, water and sewer pipes. The fancy fencing will be installed to block access to the front of all the buildings. UConn has promised to keep the driveway access to St. Mark's open throughout the project. I suggest allowing extra time to arrive. The project will take many months and is more involved and complicated than last year's work. Please allow extra time to get to and from St. Mark's with this construction project in mind!
