You know every time I think about ICF, I still get so amazed about the love and friendship that I experienced there.

It always inspires and encourages me whenever I think about it. That is so amazing.

I really want to say thank everyone who worked for the fellowship.

( June 4, 2008 - From a former UConn student who returned to her home country in 2005.)

This is _______.  Do you still remember me? I am the Chinese student in ICF in Uconn. And thanks to your prayer, I luckily  transferred to ________ university.  Currently, I am the graduate student in University of ____________. .......

It has been one semester passed since I left. I really miss you guys. It is my best memory when I was in Storrs.I love ICF. And it is the right time for me to know more about Jesus. I have cried in front of you in the prayer room. At that time , I think I am touched with a comfort hand. But I do not know why. But one week before, I watched a video in a Christian friend. It is about " Cry to God". You cry for help, and some thing you can not understand. And Jesus will answer you. At that time, I think I know why.
There is an international church in ______________. There are Koreans, Chinese, Japanese,,....and Americans. I joined the fellowship almost every Sunday except when I was sick.  From 9:00-10:30, it is bible study time. I have studied part of Luke, and now I am studying Mark. It is really fun. The more I read, the more I think, and the more I know Jesus.

I just want to thank you to let me know about Jesus. It is the best thing I get for my study in USA.

(June 25, 2007   From an international student who is now at another U.S. university.)

It is so nice hearing from you.  I am grinning from ear to ear typing this e-mail.  You were so warm and caring to me.  I will never forget that.  You guys at ICF really made me a home there.....You all are welcome to stay at my house anytime.  A Caribbean holiday would do you good.  Thank you for everything.

(June 18, 2007  A former student from the Caribbean remembering her time in the U.S. and at ICF
)

It was my first time to experience the kindness and love of my parents while I’m far away from them. That’s what I felt when I arrived at your house.

(May 3, 2007 - From a visiting student)

Thanks a lot for providing a warm welcome both in flesh as well as via E-Mail...I feel grateful and debted to your love...I haven't received such an affection even in my country.

(April 16, 2007 - From a international working in the U.S.)

It was good seeing you again I must say that I was glad to see everybody today, the truth of the matter is that I was feeling down this past couple of weeks because of my studies but seeing all of you just brightened up my day.

One again thank you for all your support, thank you for asking about me.

(April 6, 2007 - From a current student)

I'm so thankful that during our stay in the US even for just a short period, we met you..all of you in the ICF, we thank you for keeping in your prayers. And also I will never forget that during our stay there you willingly help us to enjoy our life there (even we're just a student) by giving stuffs like sweater, clothes, furnitures and others...Thank you.

(January 27, 2007 - From a student who has returned home)

I can't quite explain how happy I am to see people from all over the world happy and together as a family, I am so grateful and pleased to be part of the happy family. Please pass my many thanks to everybody and tell them all, the warm welcome I received in the fellowship on the first night, was one big lesson in my life.

(October 6, 2006)

...we know without the help of ICF friends, we could not spend a smooth life during the past year. We are so glad to know more about American culture, to recognize a true America and make so many friends.  We will cherish this experience and keep in touch with you.

(September 26, 2006 - From a student who has returned home)

...I began to try my best to help other people, my parents saw I change a lot, they ask me whether God changes me, I think so.  I feel more and more happy when I introduce Bible to other Chinese people, that's so interesting!  I told them how did people help me, how you all pray for my son, and how the people smile to me, even when I speak terrible English..haha.  All of these gave to me very deep and happy memory, when I told them God's power could help people even could change a person's life, every Chinese people who heard this feel very surprised, at that time.  I feel very, very happy.
